Mark A. Cohen

Mark is a global thought leader in the legal industry. He is presently the Chairman of the Advisory Board and Chief Strategy Officer at Elevate; a Distinguished Fellow at Northwestern University Law School; a regular contributor to Forbes where he has a column on the global legal marketplace; a sought-after keynote speaker; and CEO of LegalMosaic (www.legalmosaic.com), a legal business consultancy and repository for his work. His LegalMosaic blog was recently honored by the ABA as one of the 50 outstanding worldwide legal blogs in their inaugural “Web 100.” The first part of Mark’s career was devoted to the service of clients as a civil trial lawyer. He was a decorated Assistant United States Attorney; BigLaw Partner; and Founder and Managing Partner of a national litigation boutique firm. Recently recognized by the ABA as a Legal Rebel, Michele is a Professor at the University of Miami School of Law, affiliated faculty in Harvard Law School's Executive Education program, and the founder of LawWithoutWalls, a multi-disciplinary, international think-tank of over 1000 lawyers, business professionals, entrepreneurs, and law and business students who collaborate to create innovations at the intersection of law, business, and technology.


She is also the co-founder and co-editor of the Compliance Elliance Journal, an open access e-journal that publishes engaging authors' works about cutting edge issues in compliance and ethics.

Her book Legal Upheaval: A Guide to Creativity + Collaboration + Innovation in Law, published in 2018, was based in part on over 100 interviews with General Counsels at international corporations and Heads of Innovation at law firms.

William D. Henderson

Daniel W. Linna Jr. is a Professor of Law in Residence and the Director of LegalRnD – The Center for Legal Services Innovation at Michigan State University College of Law. Previously, Dan was an equity partner in the litigation department at Honigman Miller Schwartz and Cohn. He was a member of Honigman's Automotive and Manufacturing; e-Discovery and Information Management; Commercial Transactions; and Social, Mobile, and Emerging Media groups. Dan joined Honigman after clerking for U.S. Court of Appeals Judge James L. Ryan. Before law school, he was an information technology manager, developer, and consultant.


Dan is the co-founder of and lead organizer for the Detroit and Chicago Legal Innovation & Technology meetup groups. He was named to the 2015 Fastcase 50 as a person who has charted a new course for the delivery of legal services.


Dan received his BA from the University of Michigan, received a second BA and an MA in public policy and administration from Michigan State University, and graduated magna cum laude from the University of Michigan Law School.
